Group Testimony:
FAVOUR group is one of the seven groups of the Deacon’s Assembly, L.F.C., Water resources, Effurun. The essence of this group is to foster care, strengthen the bonds and the spirit of harmony, as well as reawaken the spirit behind our core responsibility as members of this Assembly.
God chose the name Favour for us and we love it (Proverbs 22:1). The fovour of God is evident in this group. God has been blessing us with miracle babies, divine protection, financial breakthroughs, supernatural deliverances, peace in our marriages and many more.
Favour group is Subject to the authority of Deacon’s board: Heb.13:17, “Obey them that have the rule over you, and submit yourselves: for they watch for your souls, as they that must give account, that they may do it with joy, and not with grief: for that is unprofitable for you”. The kingdom of God is a Theocracy and not a Democracy as such we obey instructions given by the Deacon’s board
As responsible members of this group, we come regularly and punctually for church services and meetings. Also, as we interact with people from different backgrounds, we maintain a polite and cheerful countenance with all. We display attitudes of humility that seek to please God rather than man or self. Favour group is characterized by restraint and strength of will and dignity in dress, speech and actions. (I Timothy 2:8-10, 1 Peter 3:1-4, 1 Peter 5:5-6)
We are committed to providing acceptable service to God. We prayerfully prepare for any obligation that may be assigned to us and make ourselves available for it.
