LFC Effurun . . . the journey so far!
Living Faith Church (Winners Chapel), Effurun, Warri, Delta State is a living proof of the faithfulness of God, the validity of the liberation mandate and the spirit of God at work in this commission.
Established on Saturday 14 October 1995, the church started as a cell fellowship in a family house with about 14 persons in attendance. Pastor Fred Anwasedo presided over that inaugural service which doubled as a feet-washing service. Pastor Chuka Agwuegbu succeeded Pastor Fred Anwasedo and the church moved to a warehouse.
In the space of less than six years, the spirit of God by Himself drew multitudes to the church and this supernatural growth led the church to making moves that led us to our present site today.
In the last couple of years, humbling testimonies, healings, deliverance, changed lives, restorations and supernatural intervention in the lives of our members has validated Effurun, Warri, Delta State as a mountain where the glory of God is released with undeniable proofs, a factory of good reports, a school of Exploits and the church where the undiluted word of faith is divinely backed up with signs and wonders.
From inception till date, the Church as also been pastored by 12 Gospel Generals viz: Pastor Fred Anwasedo, Pastor Chuka Agwuegbu, Bishop Joseph Ebhohime, Pastor Dickson Olorunda, Pastor Dele Bamgboye, Pastor Ilori, Pastor Abraham Ojeme, Pastor Makanjuola, Pastor Isaac Folaji, Pastor Yinka Folorusho; and Pastor Triumphant Obamoh.
Presently, the lord has launched us into new chapters. With diverse testimonies of changed lives and the undeniable presence of God in our midst, the membership strength has multiplied and presently, we run three MEGA services on Sundays.
