Joy

The joy group, an arm of the deacon assembly service group was created on Sunday the 8th of January, 2017.

The group started its operation immediately with forty-seven (47) members, Now (48).

It’s pioneer Leaders were: Dcn Jonathan Osiowor (Leader), Dcns. Sarah Umokoro (Asst. Leader) Dcns Edith Bikawei (Sec)

The above Leaders successfully piloted the affairs of the group from 2017-2020

When it’s change of leadership baton was effected, Dcns. Omukoro Sarah became the second leader of the group from 2020-2021, with Elder Pat Natiie as Assistant and Dcns UFUOMA Ogbeni as secretary.

In 2021, the leadership of the group came into the hands of Dcns. UFUOMA OGBENI (Leader) Dcn. JOSEPH DJEDEOKOR (Asst leader) and Dcn. SAMUEL AHOMAFOR (Secretary).

The joy group family serves with joy and gladness of heart at all time.
A group of one great family serving in unity and love.
In joy group our members welfare is a priority.

The joy group is greatly blessed by resourceful and committed members who are professionals and team players in their various fields within and outside the church.

This is indeed one unique group that has set a pace in many operational aspects of the Deacon Assembly.

The joy of the Lord is truly our strength.
